Sue Greenwood is a visual art educator with over 15 years of experience.

Passionate about public art, Sue collaborates on outdoor murals, transforming graffitied spaces into vibrant, meaningful artworks.

Inspired by the natural rhythms of nature, cultural patterns, and the power of art to make a statement about our world, Sue’s work blends hand-cut and laser-cut stencil backgrounds with expressive painted imagery.

With a strong belief in community engagement and storytelling through art, Sue continues to bring creativity and conversation to shared spaces.

Nikki Wallace-Bell is a visual art educator with over 20 years of experience in Secondary and Intermediate schools, dedicated to encouraging others through art.

As a practicing ceramicist, she creates homewares and sculptural pieces inspired by nature, reflecting themes of beauty, fragility, and environmental connection.

Through her ceramics and workshops, Nikki fosters calm, curiosity, and empowerment, helping others navigate eco-anxiety. She believes hands-on, sensory experiences can nurture a deep appreciation for nature and inspire hope and resilience for the future.

WE DO FIELD WORK THAT IS ACCESSIBLE TO ANYONE

We grew up outside, connected with the nature and believe that our kids should go outside too.

Here, at Field-based STEM, we are all working as a big team. Tap into our collective expertise.

"Unlike scientific community programmes that are expensive and require lots of investment, field work is done by individuals and is accessible to anyone. The skills gained during field work open up a huge area for everyone undertaking it."
