Orewa College had their application for Ministry of Education funds to work with Field-Based STEM approved – receiving 120 hours of support to create a field based local curriculum alongside the College’s thriving Outdoor Education programme.
Field-Based STEM joined geologists from GNS on the south Wairarapa Geocamp. Six schools* attended and had their application approved by the Ministry of Education for funds to continue working with Field-Based STEM over the next 2 years.
Waipahihi School submitted an application for Ministry of Education funds to work with Field-Based STEM to create a field based local curriculum alongside the existing Kids Greening Taupo initiative. The application was approved for 200 hours over 12 months.
Kaipara Flats School had their application for Ministry of Education funds to work for 100 hours with Field-Based STEM to create a field based local curriculum approved.
