Sian Crowley is the Founder and Programmes Manager at The Seed Pod. These workshops tap into her extensive 10+ years of experience in environmental education. Sian has engaged tens of thousands of tamariki, rangatahi, and community members in conservation and restoration work across Aotearoa, creating innovative programmes that empower the next generation of environmental leaders. With her background in photography and design, Sian weaves creativity into her resources and programmes, ensuring an inspiring and unforgettable experience for educators ready to spark curiosity and kaitiakitanga in their classrooms.

Through engaging activities like Bird Identification, Migration Mapping, and the scrumptious Beak Size and Bird Feeding Game, you’ll explore the fascinating behaviours, journeys, and roles of birds in our ecosystems.

From bird counts to Bird Art, you’ll learn how to observe, appreciate, and communicate the beauty and importance of these incredible creatures.
