$285 per workshop OR if 'paying' using PLD hours, then the first participant 'costs' 10 PLD hours (for the full 2 day conference). Second participant is an additional 6 PLD hours. All additional participants = 4 PLD hours per person

    Participants can select any of the workshops that are not yet at capacity. You can find out which workshops are still available on the Kapiti Conference registration FORM:https://snip.ly/KapitiConferencePrimary Light refreshments will be available, but participants should bring a packed lunch. If transport is needed to get you to the start of your workshop/fieldtrip, then participants are responsible for their own transport.

    Making A Mark (Uniqueness of Finger Prints)

    This workshop will introduce participants to the only unique form of identification in the world. The history and science behind fingerprints and how this

    differs from DNA profiling. The many types of powders and chemicals that can be used to develop fingerprints from a multitude of substrates. We will then introduce

    our very own Automated Fingerprint Identification System AFIS (The only one in private hands in the world) for you to search your develop crime prints from the mock crime scene.
